Petra Moving Company did an excellent job with my local move. They were able to schedule my move with relatively short notice and the pricing was fair. The movers were professional, handled my belongings with care and made my move so much less stressful. I would not hesitate using Petra Moving Company for my next move and will recommend their services to other people in my network.

I need to give more than 5 stars. I cannot thank Petra Moving Company enough for their services today helping move my boxes/containers to a local storage. Daniel and Gina were very professional, punctual, kind, and patient. Company's I looked at prior were so overpriced for what I had. Pricing with Petra Moving Company was very reasonable. I highly recommend using this company. By far the best customer service I've had and moving company I've used since living in the DMV.

Had an amazing experience with Pretra Moving in D.C - reasonably priced, professional, fast and easy move. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to move in the DMV.

After speaking with the owner on the phone and giving him an inventory of what I needed moved, he was able to give me a pretty fair estimate and meet my move date. The sensitive item I was really worried about was my giant sized TV, and they handled that perfectly. Petra did a great job safely packing, transporting, unpacking and placing my furniture in my new house. The team I had was awesome and friendly. I didn’t have to box, disassemble, reassemble, move, or unbox anything. I’d definitely use them again.

Started this week off in our new home thanks to the help of Petra Moving Company. I was nervous to let other people move my stuff but as soon as the team arrived and introductions were made, I knew it was going to be okay. They handled everything with care and speed like I’ve never seen before. We moved from a one bedroom condo with two additional storage units to a townhouse with so many stairs. Getting everything to the right spot was no easy task. I appreciated the hustle and was impressed by how strong everyone was. We could never have handled this move on our own. A special shout out to Carlos (pictured here) for being a magician getting this truck packed when we reached the second storage unit and found more stuff in there than we remembered. He saved us from having to make two trips. The only thing I would do differently next time is use their packing services. I suffered unnecessarily by packing all my own stuff.

We need to move across the country from Virginia to California. After multiple quotes seem too good to be true from brokers, we chose Petra Moving Company. Daniel and his team (CJ and Patrick) are professional from beginning to end: show up on time, packing very carefully everything, kept our stuff in their storage then moved to California perfectly in time and date we need. I definitely will hire them again for future moving. Highly recommended and their service deserves 5***** rating 👍

These are the best movers I have ever had! Every piece was padded and wrapped in clear plastic. I had some very heavy pieces and everything made it through the move great!

Have had two great experiences with Petra. They are reliable, communicative, flexible, and affordable. They are also careful with your things! CJ (team lead), Kalvin, and Davonte worked hard in the July heat. Daniel the owner is easy to get in touch with and was really flexible with a last minute change. Will use again.
